Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains what personal information SeeGlance collects, why, and the choices you have. SeeGlance is operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME], based in Hanoi, Vietnam ("we", "us"). We keep it short and specific on purpose.
1. What we collect
| Data | Details |
|---|---|
| Account | Name, email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), plus your plan and billing status. |
| Early-access sign-up | Email, how you currently get paid, what you currently use for proposals or invoices, and your language. |
| Your work content | Clients, deals, proposals, contracts, invoices, uploaded files, case studies, and your payout links or wallet addresses. |
| Signing and viewing records | When someone opens a shared proposal we record the time. When they sign we record their typed name, IP address, device details and time. |
| Emails | Confirmation emails and invoice reminders sent through the Service. |
| Payments | Handled by Paddle. We don't see or store card numbers. We receive subscription status and customer and subscription IDs. |
| Website usage data | On our public website and sign-up pages: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the ad or link that brought you here. Collected with Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. |
| Technical data | Server logs such as IP address and browser type, kept for security and troubleshooting. |
2. How we use it
- To provide and secure the Service, including sign-in, sharing links with your clients, and sending invoice reminders.
- To process your Pro subscription and keep your plan status in sync.
- To contact you about your account, early access and important changes.
- To improve the product and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal information and we don't use your content to train AI models. Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, and your consent (for example early-access sign-up).
3. Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run SeeGlance, and they process data on our behalf:
- Vercel for hosting.
- Supabase for our database, authentication and file storage.
- Resend to send emails.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for subscription payments, tax and billing support. Paddle acts as an independent controller of your payment information under its own privacy notice.
- Anthropic, provider of the Claude AI model, for the AI features (see below).
- Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics) and to measure our advertising (Google Ads).
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.
4. AI features
When you use a Pro AI feature, the text needed for that task is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the result: proposal text for translation and risk review, deal and proposal details for case studies, or the two country names for the tax treaty assistant. Don't include sensitive information you don't want processed this way.
5. Cookies and local storage
- Essential cookies keep you signed in to the app, for up to about 100 days.
- Local storage remembers your language choice on our website.
- Paddle may set its own cookies during checkout.
- Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google.
- Analytics and advertising measurement cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads are set on our public website and sign-up pages so we can see how visitors use the site and whether our ads lead to sign-ups.
These Google tags do not run on the proposal, invoice, contract and client-portal pages that you share with your clients, or inside the signed-in app. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We don't sell your personal information.
6. Information about your clients
When you enter information about your clients, you decide what to store and why. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for telling your clients how you use their data. We process that information only to provide the Service to you, on your instructions.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States and Singapore. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
8. How long we keep data
We keep account data and your content while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep by law (for example billing records, which Paddle holds) and routine backups that expire on their own schedule.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Email support@seeglance.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and a private file store, and our providers maintain their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Children
SeeGlance is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
12. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above. For material changes we will give reasonable notice.
